Salon Renovation Completed

Michael & Michael recently completed an ambitious expansion and redesign of its space, combining the original 1885 storefront with the adjacent 1915 storefront. 

The 16 month renovation completed in late 2015 elegantly combines both buildings, paying homage to the early 20th century architectural details – exposed joists and brick, industrial skylights, clerestory, original maple floors and vintage hex tile –while at the same time, adding contemporary elements with a touch of glam and sparkle.  An abundance of natural light pours though 7 skylights creating a naturally bright and welcoming space. The result is a spectacular 4400+ square foot salon with a mix of vintage, urban features juxtaposed with beautiful fabrics, mirrored tile, textured wall coverings and glistening modern light fixtures.
