For over 20 years Michael has been one of the most sought-after hairdressers in Chicago. Known for his trend-setting vision, extraordinary skill and precision dry cutting technique, Michael continues to garner national acclaim for his individualistic, approach to creating beautiful hair. Among his significant work in the fashion industry, Michael recently joined famed hairdresser, Oribe Canales, to style the runway looks for Giorgio Armani at his Milan Fashion Week shows.

InStyle & Allure have declared Michael's haircuts the "best in Chicago." Chicago Magazine also named Michael one of Chicago's top stylists. He has been featured in Elle, Town & Country, Real Simple, Lucky, Self, Women's Wear Daily, Daily Candy, Modern Salon, Salon Today, American Salon, Chicago Magazine and CS Magazine. His work for television includes the Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, Paramount Studios, Starting Over, Caryl & Marilyn Real Friends, personal stylist to Jenny Jones for The Jenny Jones Show and recurring hair expert for Windy City Live.

Michael has styled the locks of Robin Tunney, Maria Menounos, Gela Nash-Taylor, Patricia Valesquez, Candice Bergen, Bobbi Brown and Elizabeth Shue. He was contributing stylist to the book Andre Talks Hair by Oprah Winfrey's hairdresser, Andre Walker. Michael was given the "Stylemakers & Rulebreakers" award by Fashion Group International and lauded by Women's Wear Daily as one of "Fashion's Rising Stars."
