Michael Crowley

After practicing law in Chicago for many years, in both the public and private sectors, Michael has spent the last several years in more entrepreneurial endeavors. As Chief Operating Officer for two private companies–a technology startup and an international design firm–he was responsible for all daily business operations in addition to acting as in-house counsel. These responsibilities included human resources, legal and compliance issues, accounting, marketing and strategic planning.

Michael also coordinated national PR and marketing efforts, including photo shoots for design shelter magazines such as House & Garden and Veranda. Michael's efforts at Michael & Michael have resulted in acclaim on both the local and national level, where the salon has been recognized as one of the top salons in the country by Elle, Instyle, Allure, Salon Today and Women's Wear Daily, and as one of the top salons in Chicago by CS, Michigan Avenue and Chicago Magazine.

Michael has a liberal arts degree, business degree and a law degree and has attended the Harrington Institute of Interior Design. Michael has served on the adjunct faculty of Loyola University of Chicago, is a former board member of Fashion Group International, and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Youth Guidance.

As Business Director and Principal, Michael oversees all business operations, public relations, marketing & corporate strategic planning.
